Screenings
- posted on 20/3/2002 by - Drew |
The main screening room
will be the Union Cinema. We will be screening Anime from
DVD media through a video projector, onto a large screen.
Both locally released and imported Anime will be shown. We
are currently in negotiations with Madman Entertainment, in
order to bring you the latest Anime in the highest possible
quality.
Old favourites and other
titles will be shown in a secondary screening room. There
will be no set timetable for this room, so just drop by over
the weekend and see if anything takes your fancy.

We plan to be showing
Japanese Animation all thoughout the duration of the convention,
with a mixture of both locally avaible titles and overseas
imports. All anime will be in DVD format so that when it is
projected on the Big Screen of the cinema it will be in near
perfect image. Also we are currently discussing with MADMAN
enterainment about the viability of launching a newly
licensed title by madman. However this is still in early the
stages and may not eventuate.
We plan to show a mixture
of Animated movies and episodes. How we will deal with the
episodes of each series is still to be decided, that is, whether
to show the beginning sequence of epidoes or selected episodes.Rest
assured, It will probably the only time that these Japanese
Animation Movies and Episodes will be shown on any big screen
in Adelaide.
