Server
Problems Solved - posted on 10/06/2002
by - Drew |
After weeks of not being able
to update I finally am able too. Servers are mysterious things
and very annoying when they dont work like their suppose to!
But enough of that. Av Con is only just over a month away!!!
its so exciting! Also the t-shirts will be ready really soon...
like next week. I know ive said this before but printing t-shirts
is harder then it sounds, its more like wrestling a room full
of monkeys!!!
In other news the forum is
up!!! Yes really. It is and if you dont believe me its located
here.
In the next few weeks ill be trying to promote the Video Game
side of this convention through reviews, interviews etc. So
look out for these things in the next few weeks!!

Stuff - posted on 15/05/2002 by - Drew |
Half way through a
month and I havent posted any news, man does time fly. Av
Con is only 68 days away!!! How exciting! For those of you
planning to buy the t-shirt rego deal, the t-shirts should
be done in two weeks time, and they are definately worth the
wait!!! Lately Ive been getting back into some games I havent
played in years. Namely Interstate
76 and Fallout
2, both brillant games....... and rather addictive!!!
And Game Cube gets released
this Friday so I know where i'll be all weekend. In the mean
time check out these kewl links.
Way
of the Stick - an online stick figure karate game.......
very addictive and tons of fun.

Cosplay update!!! - posted
on 13/03/2002 by - Drew |
The cosplay section
of the web site has now been updated with more info including
the prize categories. So Im hoping to see you all go full
out on you're costumes!!! For those of you who are perceptive,
yes the karaoke part of the site has disappeared!!! Do not
fret though as its not gone yet. Weve merged karaoke with
the cosplay ball section as both will be one big event. sadly
though were not too sure about the future of the karaoke part
as weve had some trouble getting access to the equipment and
media we need. I'll also take this chance to point out a menion
of AV Con on the ryanlappin
mail list. Word is travelling fast and its all so exciting!!!
